Toni Lydecker

Lydecker is a journalist, cookbook author and cooking teacher who specializes in Italian regional cooking. Her articles on food and culinary travel have appeared in many print and online publications, including Wine Enthusiast, Cucina Italiana, Dream of Italy, Plate and The Washington Post. Her most recent cookbook is Piatto Unico: When One Course Makes a Real Italian Meal. She is the author of Seafood alla Siciliana: Recipes & Stories from a Living Tradition and Serves One: Simple Meals to Savor When You’re on Your Own. Lydecker writes an Italian food blog, called Tavola Talk.

Lydecker is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Her culinary business mix includes writing public relations and marketing materials to educate consumers about food.  She spent several years as vice president and editorial director for a leading food-focused public relations firm in New York City, where her responsibilities included writing food-related brochures and newsletters.

She lives in St. Petersburg, Fla.
